Projects
I'm currently working on Teacher Regulation Agency services at DfE such as Access your Teaching Qualifications.
Previously I worked on the Apply for Teacher Training service.
The services are written in Ruby on Rails and use the GOV.UK Design System. They are deployed to Azure containers using Kubernetes.
I worked on the BOXT website and mobile app, an online boiler installation service.
The website is written in Ruby on Rails, NextJS and React. It uses a microservice architecture and is deployed to Heroku.
I worked on the GOV.UK website, the Whitehall departmental publishing service and GovWifi.
GOV.UK is written in Ruby on Rails and uses the GOV.UK Design System and is deployed using Puppet and Terraform.
I also worked on the Whitehall and GOV.UK Publishing Platform, a publishing tool for departmental service start pages and other government services.
Other work at GDS included developing admin features on GovWifi, a wifi service for government buildings.
I worked with Airslie, a company set up by doctors to produce a clinical information system for renal units.
The system was launched in Kings College Hospital in London and uses the EWS to track patient health.
The system is written in Ruby on Rails and NodeJS.
